Presentation Pitch
This is my presentation pitch - I had to demonstrate my music video production video that's currently in the making. I had to get the attention of how my music video will be provided upon production today and how it work, and what's good about it. I'm doing my music video on The Black Keys (band) - Song: Just Got To Be. The presentation pitch went well, with good feedback including eyes towards the person i'm speaking to instead of looking at the board. The main goal was to receive someone to do the vocal cords+guitar solo and another subject to play the drums.

Within the first step in making your
proposal, please write down answers to the following:Q)
What have you been asked to do?A)
I have been asked to create and film a music video by planning, producing and editing it. I needed research the histories and practices of how music videos are made and had to select artists in order to be my inspiration for the music video I'm making- and then present that music video as a pitch. Q) Is the product a moving image (video) / still image (photo) and what is it suitable for? (Television broadcast / Internet streaming) A)
The product is a moving image, video, it will be useful for streaming on the internet as an mp4 video specifically on YouTube, because music videos tend to be on internet devices rather than TV. Q) How long is the length of your intended project? ( Min 2 minutes Max 4 minutes)A) 3 minutes and 16 seconds.

STORYLINE:
What is happening in your media product? Is there a linear storyline? Who are the characters? Are you making a drama or documentary? Try to be descriptive but brief.
Consisting of the real music video I've chosen, the music video will have 2 band members in it, one who has a guitar and is the vocals, the other is the drummer. The storyline will be in the lyrics sang from the song. - THEMES:
Specific emotions/topics covered within the project that you'd like to cover.
The emotions will again be in the lyrics, as it's about the song being produced because it's about sending a message through vocals. It's a rock band, and the song is about betrayal/broken hearts.
- AUDIENCE:
Who is it going to be made for? (Students, Adults, Elders etc)
EXAMPLE: "My advert will be aimed at parents of young children, as well as the children. [For a toy advert]. It could be shown on the Disney channel around programmes for children up to 10 years old (give examples).
The target audience will be towards 16-25-year old's, because that's the general audience The Black Keys has. These songs are needed by people who are maturely older and will relate towards it.

CONTENT:
What content do you have in the product that you know will appeal to the target audience? (TIP!: Refer to your choice in costume, lighting, props, text, dialogue, choice of music, location)
The lighting and the song of choice will appeal to the audience because of how it's conveyed. It's a song about emotion and the theme on where it's set and how it looks e.g. gloomy, but also full of light for hope will give in on a target audience who have the same emotions as the song does. - LEGAL, ETHICAL AND
MORAL ISSUES:
Could it be banned/copyright claimed for any reason?
Will anything be controversial, is anyone involved using bad - Nothing controversial being shown or said is in the song itself, the only part is a risk of a copyright claim.

2 or 3 cameras and tripods will be needed to record the video.

ROLES:
Who will be responsible for the
production roles within your content? (I.E. Who will take on directing,
editing, camera work, sound recording etc)
· Contributors from class will help with the needed camera, tripod setting up & recording and I will singlehandedly direct and edit.

My wide shots, longshots and overall most camera work will be adjusted/modified in post-production editing to make the camera work zoom in/or out from it's subjects on screen. An inspiration from the actual Just Got To Be video itself, however, I want to add some originality and will be changing up the rapid-fast paced original shot taking, to a more slow paced balanced camerawork production.
